Our Paradise Farm is a 54 acre, tract of land in Buckingham County Virginia and an oasis for wildlife. Here we have either seen or seen evidence of whitetail deer, black bear, bobcats, squirrels, and wild turkey.
There are many other types of small birds on the property, including doves.
Our property is not only beautiful, but it also has all the makings of good hunting property. The different types of terrain, cover for the animals and steady water source provide for potential game. The stream running throughout, Duckers Creek, leads to the Appomattox River.
There Is Work To Be Done
It’s wild and wonderful right now. We are making plans for an access road so that we can use our living quarters horse trailer as a camper until we can eventually get some sort of living structure built. Either something made from a shipping container or some sort of cabin kit.
Treestands, Game Cameras, Feeders, and Feed Plots
Are all things that we hope to do in time to make the most of our little piece of wild land. It is one step at a time. A little here and a little there as finances allow. It is a work in progress, but one that I’m proud to share with you.
