Sea Donkey Fishing In The Gulf May 11
Word from the Sea Donkey down in Florida is that the fishing is pretty good.
The first spot they went was a honey hole, every single time they threw a line in the water they were catching fish.
When they decided to go farther offshore (on about an hour run out) they did not catch a whole lot. The thunder started rumbling and they headed back in.
On the way they hit a huge bait ball and caught grouper and sea bass. They saw a couple seat turtles and a Goliath of a grouper swim by!
They also caught a king fish, well half one as you can see in the picture. As it got reeled in close to the boat something bigger ate half of it. Most likely a bigger king fish or a barracuda.
Wish I would have been there! That’s alright, one of these days I will get to go aboard the Sea Donkey again. I’m glad they had a safe and successful trip!
