I have posted before about our property in Buckingham county Virginia. It is an undeveloped property, with tons of potential for hunting. Well, pretty much anything outdoor!
Clearing ATV Paths
We hauled the John Deere tractor from the farm down a few weekends ago. Using the tractor, we cleared some wide paths for trucks to drive on. As well as some narrower path’s for ATV’s to ride out to the tree stands on.
If you have read any of my outdoor posts you know I’m obsessed with game camera stalking deer. So of course, we placed some trail cameras on the property. We are super excited to see what we get pictures of! Could be whitetail deer, bear, bobcats… there are quite a few possibilities.
Set Up A Tripod Stand
We set up one tripod stand in a spot that we think will be productive during deer season. There is a second one to set up, but we need to build a bridge across the river first to get it over there. That’s a project for another weekend!
When You’re Camping Out You Gotta Have A Fire Pit!
Everybody outdoors knows…if you are going to camp in the great outdoors, you gotta have a fire pit. The finishing touches on the weekend were building the Paradise Farm Property it’s very own fire pit.
It Is Only June!
Even though it is only June, we are working hard on the property to get ready for hopefully the best hunting season there yet!
