The original road was probably about 8-10 feet wide. A truck could squeeze through. Not easily though. So step one was to widen the road about 4 feet. Now a truck or truck and trailer could easily access the property.
As we were working on widening the road, we came across a super wet spot. Luckily, we were able to correct this was some changes in how the water drains.
Widened Intersection To Campsite
While working on widening the road a wide intersection was put in. This leads to the campsite. Allowing us to get our trailer back there more easily.
Widened And Improved River Crossing
Widening the river crossing was a big deal. Now we can get a tractor with a mower to the other side.
The first priority is to open up the property along the stream. This is about 10-15 acres.
Next, we want to be able to put gravel down on the road. Then the road will be good to go.
One More Thing Will Make It Perfect
That is that Tycen will build a cabin for us. A place to stay when we go hunting. Or just a quiet weekend getaway spot. It’s named Paradise Farm for nothing!
