There is no swimming allowed in hopes of not disrespect or disturb the wildlife at the beach area. All the items you take to the beach must be carried. Please only set up in the sand, not in wooded or grassy areas. Porta potties are available near the main stretch of the beach. The beach can easily reach capacity during summer months, So get there early, or call first to double-check!
Fishing is permitted in Beverly Lake, Deep Pond, and the Chesapeake Bay. All water is brackish and requires a Maryland Chesapeake Bay and Coastal Sportfishing License.
Dogs well behaved and on leases at all times are welcome in the park. There are bags available, so please immediately clean up after your dog.
The trail system here is about 5 miles. Great for hiking or dog walking. It Provides scenery of many different habitats and wildlife.
No bikes are allowed on natural trail surfaces. The trails are marked by the standard Appalachian Trail marking system.
