Monthly Calendar/ Dates To Remember
When I started working in the journal I’m currently using, I made a section with all the monthly calendars and dates to remember. So I did not repeat those pages again in the specific February section.
Pictures, Pencil, Markers, and Washi
I started all my pages in a rough draft sort of way with a pencil. You can see it through the marker, but it is better for me. Since I’m just a creative person, not an artsy person, so designing pages first in pencil so I can fix mistakes works well for me.
Since it’s February and hearts are something that I can actually draw I figured that I would take advantage. Again, I know you can see the pencil through, but it just works better for me than designing my pages with pen or marker right from the bat.
I tried really hard on this page to make a straight line and uniform size boxes. Something that my vision struggles with since my TBI.
I worked so hard to make it look pretty but my foggy unable to focus brain screwed up the days and dates on the calendar. All I can do is laugh about it though and just make it work! Scratching stuff is annoying, but the page is still functional.
Trash Can Page
Having a trash can to “dump out” the negative things that I have weighing on my mind is something I always like. It’s easy to draw, for someone like me with zero art skills.
When I started in this journal I also mentioned that the markers bleed through a bit. It is annoying but I’m already well into this journal. So I will work on it until it’s all full!
I think that this page looks like one of the tiniest ones so far this month. So far, it’s easy to use and I like the way it looks.
Healthy Eating Tracker
Another page that I worked hard to make a decent looking calendar spread. This was the last page I did. The page doesn’t look as good, I was tired and my TBI brain was definitely roaring its ugly head.
Got A Late Start…
I started my February pages at the last minute so I’m not done yet. So there will be another post once I get everything done that I’m hoping for!
