We went with an arsenal of bait! A whole bunch to pick from. Salted Eel, night crawler, clam snouts and bloodies.
First Fishing Spot
We started out in the bay. At our first spot at 8:07. Sitting at 16.4 feet of water. We realized really quickly that this spot wasn’t going to pan out so we moved on.
Second Fishing Spot
We went to a different spot on the bay, that looked slightly promising on the finder. There were some spots on the finder, but not nearly as many as we would have liked.
Headed Back To The Mouth Of The Magothy
We quickly decided it wasn’t happening in the bay today. Headed back into the mouth of the Magothy River where we finally start getting fish!
Finally Found The Fish!
At our spot in the Magothy, right across from the point of Gibson Island we found fish. Nothing big or exciting but at least we finally started catching and not just fishing.

Headed In To Beat The Heat
It was a hot one out there, so we ended up heading in around 11:00. Thank goodness we did! By the time we got to the pier and were putting the Jenny Bird on the lift and unloaded her, it was a scorcher!
