Many Years Means Meeting Many People
We have been in the horse business for what seems like forever now. Which means we have met lots of horse people. Trainers, lesson kids, vets, farriers, feed store people…all kinds of people!
Some of the people you meet come and go through your life quickly without leaving much of an impact on you. You may totally forget about some people.
Others You Always Remember
Just like in all walks of life. There are many personalities and so many different people you will meet. Some of them are just special. Maybe they are amazing because of their strength, their courage in bad times. It could be they are amazingly talented at what they do. Maybe they are amazingly talented at teaching what they do.
I would like to introduce you to one of these people that I think is amazing. He is kind, and an expert in his field. Always takes the time to be friendly and get to know his customers. He has beat cancer twice, is 89 years old, and still farming.
He is the type of person that is always glad to see you and always has a story to tell. About farming a lot time ago, about his kids, or something funny that happened on the farm.
He is humble, kind, dedicated, and has a passion for his work. Glenn is someone that I feel blessed to know and have been able to spend time with over the years.
Meet Mr. Glenn Rash Of Glen’s Hay and Straw
Horses Love Glenn’s Hay
I would venture to say that Glenn’s hay is the best hay we have ever fed our horses. Once they get used to Glenn’s hay, they get a little picky and tend to turn their nose up at anything else!
Something To Aspire To
Being as hard-working, humble, and kind as Glenn is something to aspire to. I hope that one day I can be even a fraction of the person he is! He is awesome!
Sweet!
🙂
