I mentioned earlier this week that we had a patient in the barn. Buddy had a bad leg that just kept getting worse. Long sad story short, Buddy has gone on to greener pastures and the farm seems totally wrong without him.
I can’t bring myself to write about my relationship with Buddy. Not yet. It’s still to fresh and upsetting. Buddy spent most of his life at our farm. He was not my horse, he belonged to my best friend, Megan. We went on trail rides, he competed in eventing and dressage. Even did some hunter shows a long the way. His show name, ” I can’t believe it’s not budder” was well known on the local circuits. He was always bringing home blue ribbons.
I Could Tell You Some Stories About Buddy!
Eventually, I will feel up to telling more stories about Buddy. He had quite a personality and I have lots of stories about him. For now, though, I can remember him through pictures. He was a special horse and I was lucky to have had him in my life for so long.
Don’t Worry I’m Still Going To Tell You What National Day It Is!
It is National Seed Swap Day, it is also National Croissant Day!
